Gun crimes on Rise in Massachusetts with a spin to try and sound like it isn't so bad.

Massachusetts gun crimes rise despite strict laws | masslive.com

Despite having some very heavy handed gun laws and very steep fees for registration and licensing Massachusetts is seeing higher use of guns in crimes. Now with all this the report here tries to spin it as two things, one that these are legally obtained guns which by the statistics is false and two that somehow it is not the fault of the gun laws in Massachusetts but the States north of Massachusetts.

This is one huge liberal "Not my fault" statement if there ever was one. Take Responsibility for your laws Massachusetts and admit the laws are not working.

Now as for the fees this State requires. I think even if we voted in a 100% Conservative slate, well Conservative for Massachusetts, they would not cut back the fees to license and register... too good of a revenue stream.
My guns wont be illegal, they will only be undocumented.

I like how some folks try to peg the guns on NH and Maine...odd if its so easy for criminals to get guns in NH to commit crimes, why not just commit the crime in NH?

Really, use a gun to steal cigarettes or a washing machine?

I'm shocked, do we need to revisit Chicago as well? Or perhaps when DC tried this.

    Speaking of Chicago...

42 Homicides so far this year. That is more than 1 a day and a 17% increase in pace compared to previous year of 506 total.

    JDJarvis,

    Don't waste your time.

When the truth is not favorable to the ideology, you couldn't get a straight answer out of certain posters if their lives depended on it.

Instead, expect them to deflect, dodge, or ignore.
Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add "within the limits of the law" because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.

I'm sure Goober knows there was an armed robbery of cigarettes from a convenience store in the Salem MA area in the last week or so.
Ma laws encourage criminality, defending yourself under many situations is a crime. Buying goods without paying your sales tax is a no no as well.
